im having the same problem, it just locks up when it starts doesnt it.... hmmm, ive emailed eidos support, but they dont work weekends so wont geta reply till then, and my system requirements exceed the minimum ones by loads, but two things i reckon should bechecked out...

first, your voodoo 2, have u got the latest drivers for that and/or your normal video card??? they need to be directx 7.0a compatible, and i cant get any dx7 ones for mine and i reckon thats the problem.. try checking www.3dfx.com and search the Drivers Archive for voodoo 2 updates and if not, i dont know what to do, the game keeps crashinh with me as well, is it with you??? core still cant get rid of the bugs can they, i mean, it uses the same game engine as previous tr's, so why should it be different.... i dont know, i just want to play it without it crashing and build some good levels....

JFYI: works fine on my Matrox Millennium G200 SG w/ 8MB, Win98, 1600x1200px, 16Bit, DIrectX8.

Support Canada, buy Matrox
(In fact I may buy a GeForce2 GTS shortly

Hi Guys,

I have a voodoo2 card and it WAS coming up with a error message before I could get into it. I thought it was the voodoo card cause it did it's little refreshy thing. But I changed the monitor from Plug and Play to what it actually is, and now it works. Try that. You may need to reset first.

Oh, it's the beta DX 7 drivers (from 27 Jan 2000). Well, I don't want to switch back to older drivers, since the latest from 3dfx have been great.

Anyway, it's working perfectly on my intel i810 (what a crappy chip it is )
