What do you think are the chances of creating
levels for the PSX?Core has developed every
single TR on both platforms so i don't think they build every level twice on different versions of the editor!They might have used
another converter to read the compressed information in the WAD and export it in a
playable ps level.Most other files in the psx
disc are the same as the pc ver.(english.dat-
script.dat.The levels though are compressed in to one single file)So is it possible to
burn a cd with some levels and the psx executable this way?

When i am compile Levels with the "Converter"
i also see the in log messagebox something
like PC generating and compress Level....

So i think there must be aspecial "converter"
pak/compress tool for the PSX Levels
and the Leveleditor could be the same ???

Unforunately it isn't that easy or you would have seen all the TRGold versions on the playstation! A whole set of playstation dev tools are required to make the conversion and there are other limitations having to do with the textures and the size of the levels as well.

I know it's not easy,but i've heard that
before,a few years ago when Core was asked
to release the room editor...
Anyway,Reb can you give some more info?

Reb what about the PS2? In its early stages we heard all about how it was going to allow for development. We don't hear so much of that now, but I'm still curious.

Sorry, don't know more than what I've already told you...I have never been involved with dev for the playstation and at this time there is no talk of making it possible to convert levels made with the level editor to PSX.
