Hi,how can I set the transparency color for the texture files? I`m using Ulead PhotoImpact 5.0 and there is no such option for setting the transparency color in TGA files. Does anyone know which program can be used to set the transparency color? IP: Logged |

Hi.Not shure but... if Iīm right, in the editor transparency color is fixed to black. Donīt forget to set TOGGLE OPACITY. Greetz. [This message has been edited by WebKnight (edited 12-06-2000).] IP: Logged |

Use the color sampler to get the exact color from an existing texture file, then fill in your background with that color. If this doesn't work, make a copy of an existing texture map as your base, then paste your new tiles into it. THis way you can be sure the transparent color will work.IP: Logged |

The transparency for Tomb Raider is:If you're using hexadecimal code: #FF00FF If you're using RGB R=255 G=0 B=255 When you enter those, it should be a bright pink, almost the same color as: this is.
Once you get that color, just fill it in where ever you want it to be transparent, and the TR engine will do the rest. IP: Logged |
