Houston we have a problem.........It seems that when I created a level using the KARNAK
wad and the TUT textures, and saved it as at
KARNAK file im not able to climb on the walls
that I have desinated as a climbing surface.
Now what? Fix one thing and another arises?

CONFIRMED!

So far climbing is NOT possible in karnak.wad and city.wad.

Works in catacomb.wad.

When i load the tut1.prj and load the
objects and textures files from karnak
and compiled it for testing to tut1.tr4
the climbing function works, but when you compiled it to karnak.tr4 it does not work.
So i am at this time not really know where
the bug is. maybe i think there is something wrong
in the script for level karnak !!!

Yout right Crofter, when I used the Karnak wad and the Tut textures and saved it as a Tut wad the climb worked fine but all the objects didnt work properly. So I then used the Karnak wad with the Tut textures and saved it as a Karnak wad and thats when the climb didnt work. So I believe the bug is in the Karnak wad as well, but I also believe that it might be numerous bugs that have lot to do with different wads and textures being compatible.

ONCE AGAIN:

You CANNOT (!!!!!!!!) use objects from karnak.wad and save as tut1.tom.

You MUST save as karnak.tom if you use karnak.wad, as coastal.tom if you use coastal.wad and so on!

plus:
wads and textures are two different things
and there's no problem using any wad you want with any texture file.(and the opposite of course)
