Try recording a sound of a rolling boulder or downloading off the internet. Then Trigger the sound at the same time as the boulder (Stacking Triggers).

Good idea Doc....apparently l_rumb.wav found in the sound.txt file is not assigned to the spiked balls....that would be a hardcoded thing, so Doc's suggestion is a possible solution...or you might be able to use one of the existing audio track sounds.....

LOL... hey DocWillardMD, that was a good one.
"Record a sound of a rolling boulder", why didn't he think of that? Sorry, I'm not having a go at you, it was just funny.
Good idea, BTW.

What I was sugesting was ingenuity, use your sound card for what is was built (Not just for playing your CDs of Britney Spears!!!), connect to an external device (Videos, TVs or Hi-fi).

The world is full of sounds, it just takes a little effort and time, try to put the effort that Core/Eidos so obviously did!!!

How do you think they got the sound of a rolling boulder (get some gullable fool to stand at the bottom of a ravine????), they researched their games. They didn't expect anyone to drop the resources in their laps.

I found a lot of sounds on some of my other pc/psx games that I used.

Sorry - didn't mean to sound patronising 1996, I was just explaining my first reply to our good friend in Aussie land.

I recorded the sound of boulders with Tombraider II (specifically in the opera house). I took a little bit of editing with some sound effect software to create the correct sound.

Then as like the manual explains I numbered the wav. file and placed it in the audio file. Then to trigger it, you set in the same square for the boulder. It took a little trial and error.

So which trigger type did you end up using for the boulder effect?
