Well, I must express my disappointment with the level editor. Considering how long we have all been waiting for an editor, we should have received something more substantial. I realize that the editor was not originally intended for public distribution, but my question is "why the heck not?". As loyal fans of the TR series, do we not deserve a decent utility so that we can finally create our own good levels? The selection of WADs is poor at best, and I have yet to hear any indication that Core is working on any new WADs. Also, we do not even have the ability to mix-and-match the few available WADs. And as if the poor WAD selection isn't restrictive enough, the bugs that prevent climbing and monkey swinging in several WADs limit us even further. Core should have put some work into this instead of just spitting out this lame excuse for an editor. Core/Eidos have got to start giving the people what they want (and paid for), instead of just saying "we're sorry you feel that way". I'm sorry that I spent my hard-earned money on something that didn't even come close to meeting expectations. And I'm not the only one who feels this way.------------------ Just putting in my two cents. IP: Logged |
