I can't get textures to animate. I've clicked on "ANIMATION RANGES" on the texture side-bar, I've highlighted the necessary textures, and I've clicked "OK." When I check on the animation ranges, it shows them highlighted in green, but they won't animate when I run the game. I'm probably missing some really obvious step here, so if you know what it is, let me know. IP: Logged |

It sounds like you are doing everything properly.....are you using a texture map that you made yourself or one from the disc? Is the animation range near the bottom of your map or closer to the top? TRy creating a range closer to the top of the map and see if those will animate...if they do, then the problem could have something to do with texture memory limitations.....let me know what happens. Also, just in case you didn't read "hints, tips and updates" you can't use the quarter squares found on some of the extra texture maps....they worked in the TR3 editor, but not with TR4. You must use the entire texture square to get them to animate.[This message has been edited by Reb@Eidos (edited 12-13-2000).] IP: Logged |

Actually, I've been using the textures included on the CD. I've experimented with several of them, and none them animated. Not even the ones in the tutorial. I have a 3D/FX Voodoo 3 card-- is there some kind of compatability problem? It seems unlikely since I've been able to play Last Revelation and Chronicles without any problems. IP: Logged |

When you play the tutorial level using the tr4 file from the disc, is the water texture animated? IP: Logged | |
