i seem to have trouble setting triggers for different rooms e.g i put a switch in a room and i want it to open a door in another room how do i do it?

Hi TRF,
Place your door and switch. Select the door,use the planview to go to the room with the switch,(your triggerwindow should read:"trigger for door..")select your switch square and press the pink trigger button.
Now select your switch and press the same square you did earlier and press the pink button again. Left clicking on the pink square in the planview window shows you the triggers you've placed.
(since you switch in another room, the player doesn't know what happens when he/she uses the switch so you can also use the heavy-trigger option and a camera as you can read in the tutorial in the section where you set the triggers for the top stackroom.)
