Hi...
I have Voodoo 1 and Tseng ET6000. RE will not run, because it crashed (illegal operation).
I have latest drivers for Voodoo and ET6000. My depth color is 16bit in 1024x768. Of course DirectX 7 is installed.

Regards,
Andykaz

How many times has this occured and when, exactly, does it occur? When you go to open the tut1.prj, make sure you don't accidentally select a white square on the plan view grid. Have you read through the Trouble Shooting Seciton?

It is always when I try to run RE and when I change my Graphic Adapter in TR setup.

Are you SURE you have the latest drivers? It sounds like you are doing everything right so it must be your graphics card or something with your system. Voodoo 1 is an older card, so it is really important that you have the latest drivers.

Yes, I'm sure, that I have latest drivers to my ET6000 & Voodoo. I tested other drivers, resolutions, bit depths, operating systems, DirectX versions, BIOS setup and I have only this problem with illegal operation. For any help, I will be grateful.

Is your monitor on Plug n Play, if so change it to the actual one.

Just a suggestion.

I'm not sure if that was what started mine going
