ARH, WHY DONT THE OBJECTS MOVE TO THE PLACE WHERE YOU TELL THEM TO ?

Im trying to put a flame emitter on the wall next the animate2 object but when i place or move the emitter it keeps jumping to random walls nowhere near the requested place ?!? It usually gets positioned out of the room in thin air ?! Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong or what i need todo step by step. Please help, its draving me mad

If you use FLAME_EMITTER2 in combination with a torch the bigger side of the FLAME_EMITTER2 mesh must point to the wall, otherwise the flame won´t appear ON the torch. Rotate the mesh (right-click onto the object) until it is in the correct position.

YOu may also want to click on the flame to select it, then select "Move object" from the objects menu and then click on the square where you want the flame to appear.
