Just curious... what texture set are you using for that? Or, more importantly, what WADs are you using? With everything being Egyptian themed, I'm having a difficult time breaking out of that mold. The game I'm working on involves a terrorist group that has discovered the entrance to Osiris' Underworld, and they're using the magic from that mythical place to power their operations. Yeah, I know it's cliche. But, since the terrorists are using arifacts from the underworld to power their base, at least I can justify having ancient artifacts in a world painted with Area 51 textures. And, from the base itself, of course you can venture down into the Underworld for some good old fashioned Tomb Raiding.IP: Logged |

One can easily create great new textures by using a camera, a scanner, and a program like PhotoShop for example... the only real limitation is the fact that you can't make any new objects... Greetz, Striffelbuur.

Yeah, texture limitations aren't a problem at all, really. It's the objects that cause limitations. I wish Eidos would release a generic WAD featuring nondecorative doors, pushable blocks, crumbling floors and inornate levers that would work with just about any texture set. I think then we'd really see some creative ideas from people.IP: Logged | |
