Hiya,I'm looking for people with too much time on their hands to solve this 'little' problem... I've got two stacked rooms, and I need them both to end up in the same corridor:... Enjoy, and thanks very much in advance to anyone that might figure out a usefull trick to get this to work... Best regards & happy new millennium, Striffelbuur.

The only way to do it is to use two stacked rooms, like you said. You said you didn't want to do this because doors and other objects can't span two rooms? I've never had this problem. I've succesfully made a level that has a working door spanning across two rooms.------------------

Well, if I make a door from the bottom half of the combined room (ie. the room consisting of 2 stacked rooms) to the corridor, and then try to make a door from the top half of the combined room, the editor tells me this is an illegal door which cannot be applied. Best regards, Striffelbuur.

No, I mean I can get door *objects* to span across two rooms. If you make the corridor out of two rooms, then you'll have to make the rest of that floor out of two rooms too.------------------

Cool! I'll do some tests with this, but if it does indeed work, then this would solve my problem! Whoa, I'm already looking forward to the moment when I'm going to have to apply the lighting effects ;-) Twice for every room ;-) Well, it's worth the trouble if it makes it possible to approach the architecture of our real-life offices even closer... Thanks very much, Best regards, Striffelbuur.

Alas, a new problem has presented itself... It turns out that Lara can walk straight thru a wall if her head is in a stacked room which has a doorway in the top half of the wall... As an illustration: Any ideas? Best regards, Striffelbuur.
