i want to make a pool filled with water(i no how to do)but i want to beable to pull a switch and let the water be drained(no more water)

any help?

You would have to make a flipmap and turn the water effects off and if you have water textures change them to a clear texture. You will then have to place a switch trigger under you switch and then a trigger for the flipmap.

I have the same problem, but I can't even begin without first knowing how to do water at all! The manual doesn't help much on making water.

Any time that you wish to change the shape or characteristics of a room in-game, you need to use a flipmap. Flipmaps come in REAL handy, and no good TR level is complete without at least ONE flipmap. A note on flipmaps: trigger the flipmap out of view of the player, as the change is instantaneous.

The manual literally walks you through all the steps necessary to make water, starting on page 38 (US version).
