Not only do the climb and monkey swing animations not work, but the kicking a door down animations don't work either. I'm also told that wading is also kaput. Hopefully eidos can release a total fix for the wad. I don't know if the other wads have all the animations, but if city doesn't have them all, then perhaps the others don't too. I don't really want to be thinking, I'm going to be making a level with lots of kick in doors, so I have got to use this wad or that wad and not this wad, etc. If eidos could check each and every wad for all the animations, and release a patch for them to complete them all (again if more are missing animations which I'm just speculating), that would extremely benefeit us, simply to alieve the worry of deciding upon a wad, as said before.

Sorry, I meant the doors she opens normally, not the kick doors!

Hiya,

The kick-doors in the city.wad work perfectly, so I guess you're doing something wrong; are you sure you've placed the doors correctly? (you can only kick a kick-door from one side, in case you didn't know this already).

I'm sorry, I did not mean the kick doors, but rather the doors that she opens normally. What happens is the doors open normally, but lara jumps and flashes around before returning to her resting position after the door has been opened. (just like the ladders and monkey bars.)

Those are the kick-doors and I have the same problem. The animation where she grabs the door knob and opens it is missing. See, the doors have two animations kicking and opening. Try to have it wher all the doors need to be kicked until fixed wads are released.

I have no problems using either the kick-door or any other door in City.wad.
Describe the door type (number) you're having problems with and i'll post a reply.
