I tried making a trap like this using the Angkor wad but with mixed results. First I made a water room and stacked it under the upper room and created a door. Select the door and click toggle opacity 2 and turn on Double Sided. Do not turn on Transparent. Now place the brick textures.

The problem with this was that the floor looked like bricks but it was waving like water. To get around this I made another room the same size as the water room but only one click tall. I then placed this between the water room and the upper room. The floor now looks like solid bricks all the way across.

Even though it now looks perfect there is still another problem. When Lara “walks” up to the edge of the pit it looks like she stops for no apparent reason. To get around this I placed some railing objects around the pit. Now it looks like there is a reason for Lara to stop at this point.

Well that’s about as far as I have gotten with this. I hope some of this helps you.
