I am interested in starting a level editing group called aKtif and I was wondering if anyone would be inerested in joining. Mainly level editors are required but we may also need:Storyline Editors, Texture Designers, Map Designers and Researchers (They look in to how we might do more with Tomb Raider: New lara skins, FMV's, wad editing etc.) Please only dedicated editors join as we want to get SOMETHING done. I'm the story editor! Tell me what you want, and I'll make a great story line out of it! And I could do some reserching on the side, if you want. BTW, we can use my forum to post all the stuff we've accompleshed!------------------ "Seth, ruler of evil, shall again be free at the turn of the distant millenia. As he unleashes plagues and locusts, harvests fail under the broken sky. In light of this, the Sun god Horus, banished the Lord of Darkness, Seth." It is freelance - after all it breaks the lisence agreement to charge for trle levels. (Any insights as to whether you can charge for CD burning and posting costs)? IP: Logged |

Your right,,, your not to charge anybody for TOMB RAIDER LEVELS, but a person could always charge for theyre time in creating one so I guess im still kinda waiting for your answer as to what your plans are. I wouldnt mind working on something like that but I would def be looking for more than a pat on the back. But then again I guess it has a lot to do with your time line......I mean I can see people working on a level for you or this ring your trying to get together for a little while but after a week of room editing and manipulating,,,the thrill of working just to has somebody play your level might go away sooner than you think. So I say yeah go with it but it might need a little more thought to fine tune it and smooth out the edges.....keep us posted.IP: Logged |

Yes definitley interesting.I've done quite a lot of graphics and should be quite well versed in the level editor within the next couple of weeks. I'm currentley working on a London level using a digital camara to capture textures in the local area. The only problem is that you don't get to many scorpions and arabs with swords. It would nice to be able change that to say muggers and stray cats. Maybe your your group could find out how? Keep me posted IP: Logged |

I have been playing TR for a long time since the first release and have come to like the game a **** of a lot. I would be happy to do level design as a team, i already work with Unrealed and do a bit of 3d modeling on the side. I'm also learning about worldcraft and of course the TR level editor so i would appreciate a group to work with i will be a good level desinger i have some interesting ideas. If you are interested and want to discuss my ideas mail me the address is: nord@nacherki.freeserve.co.uk Get back to me asapIP: Logged |
