In one forum they told me to build a block in squares to avoid the editor from stretching my textures, but i don't know how to do that!

It tells you how do that in the tutorial.
If you actually do the tutorial, a lot of your questions will be answered.

highlight the wall with face edit off, Then push "Q" to raise a line from the floor and push "A" to lower the line. For more sections push "S" to lower a line from the ceiling, push "W" to raise it. If the line doen't show up right away then keep pushing it a few times. For more sections after you used "Q,A,W,S" push "E" to raise another line from the floor and "D" to lower it. For yet one more section push "F" to lower another line from the ceiling, and "R" to lift it. That is the most sections you can put into a wall for adding textures. When that is done, have fun texturing it!
