when i load a tga texture set into the
level editor not all the textures are there.
i found this out after loading them into a
paint programme.one example is the "settomb"
tga, about 24"tiles" are missing when loaded
into the level editor.
anyone know why this is happening.
p.s they don't even show up in the "animation range" or the "texture sound"
buttons

Could it be that some of your tiles are completely black? I noticed that every tile after a black tile isn't displayed in the room-editor...

Hope this helps,
Best of luck,
Striffelbuur.

no no no your getting confused.
EVERYONE TRY THIS:.
Load up your paintpackage then load in the
"GOLDCAT" texture set. when loaded scroll
thru all the tiles.try and remember them.
now load your leveleditor as normal and
load in the "goldcat" texture set.
are all the tiles you saw in the paintpackage
shown on texture window.
SOME OF MINE ARE MISSING WHY?.
AND I DO NOT MEAN THE BLACK TILES.

I am most certainly not getting anything confused; I check this myself, and all I got wrong was that I mentioned a completely BLACK tile, which should have been a completely PURPLE tile; just make the tile that's completely PURPLE in your paint-program contain at least 1 pixel, and all the following tiles will be included as well once you load the TGA-file into the editor.

All tiles following an empty tile are ignored by the editor, and as there is an empty tile in the goldcat.tga, the last 23 tiles are not loaded properly.

Best regards,
Striffelbuur.

Could be this...

Lay your tiles out either four or eight tiles across (by whatever amount down).

Laying them out in any other increment could be messing things up.
