Im using the tut wad and I think I found a small problem but I need somebody to confirm or test so that I can be sure whats causing the problem. It seems that when using the tut wad and you put a flame emitter2 it causes some kind of conflict with Lara returning to the room with the flame.
Try placing 2 flame emitter2 in a hall to light as you pass them now back track to the bigining of the hall. This time with the flames on walk past them and see if the animation for Lara's follow cam is distorted or slowed down. Like from 30 frames a second to about 15.....can somebody test for me

Hi,
that is a problem of you graphics card, it seems to get problems keeping the frame rate while displaying the tranparent flame effects. There is too much change of information when you pass the flames.

I set up a hall with the tut wad just like you described, with a torch on each wall. I didn’t notice any slow down. I tried walking back and forth several times and I still didn’t see any loss of frame rate. I left the room and came back and still no difference.

To test it even further I made the hall 18 squares long and lined both walls with torches. Even with 36 torches the frame rate didn’t seem to slow down. Again I tried walking back and forth, running, jumping, and turning. Everything still looked perfectly smooth.

Sorry I didn’t find out anything to help you.
