* QUESTION 1

How do you animate water?
I know how to create water but when I press the 'transparent' and the 'double sided' button and I click on the 'animation ranges' button and highlight the water textures and press 'ok' it is still plain flat water!!
WHYYYYYYYYYYY!!
I read the manual beginning to end!

* QUESTION 2

Crowbar will not appear!
I am using the 'cleo.text' wads and I want a crowbar item in my level. I have tried all of the different trigger types (and none) and have changed the OCB settings several times but my crowbar looks like Laras pants. (really) How can I make a crowbar look like an actual crowbar!?

Please help with one of the above problems because it is really getting my down!

See ya ++

This may sound like a really stupid and obvious answer to your water question but... load your level back up into the editor. Now, click on Animation Range and make sure the water textures are still highlighted by one long green rectangular box. I was driving myself crazy with this before I realized that I had never saved my level after selecting the animation range.

If this isn't your problem, it could be one of two other things. First, some WADs just don't like water. I know the Seth Tomb WAD will give you problems, and there may be others. Second, be sure not to texture all of your water with the same texture panel. In they all animate in unison, the effect will be wrong.
