Not that I'VE necessarily done it. But Geckokid's level which you can find at www.tombraiders.com has Lara in a dark blue tank top! He says he found and edited her wad file. YAY! IP: Logged |

You can use StrPix (located at http://yiri.maniac.com/tombraider.html) or TRWADed (located at http://www.levelworld.org) to edit the textures in a wad; you can use TRViewer (also at levelworld) to edit the textures of a compiled .tr4 level. Best regards, Striffelbuur. IP: Logged |

I have edited her and given her a wide variety of clothes. This is her in her spandex exercise outfit.

Anyone have any requests for outfits. Remember her arms and legs have to remain flesh color.IP: Logged |

For which WAD did you edit these textures? The outfit looks really cool and is actually extremely similar to one I've been trying to do (could find all but ONE of the textures involved; got quite irritated about this at one point ;-)), so I wonder if you'd be willing to share this texturemap... Would you be willing to me by mail at striffelbuur@usa.net? Thanks very very much in advance, Best regards, Striffelbuur. IP: Logged |

Folks, remember that it is not possible to change Lara's mesh (her 'shape')... You can only change the textures applied to the different surfaces... I wish I could play the TR2 venice levels with Lara wearing a venecian ballroom dress, or a medieval dress in St Paul's Cathedral *sigh*------------------ "Ahahahaha, right, in your next life!" Sure I can do that! As for the requests I can only give her tank tops and knee high shorts. I can do the wetsuit though, minus the sleeves of course.------------------ Never give-up! unless the situation is hopeless:) IP: Logged |

forgive me if i sound dumb, but why must her arms and lower legs remain flesh color? Right now i'm playing around w/ STRpix 2, and i've bin trying to see if it was possible to make a program that'll allow you to edit the textures more easily, but that could take a while. n e way I've got a dark grey cat suit on the way right now so if n e 1's interested just say the word ------------------ Rock on. 85 IP: Logged |

I cantexture her arms and legs but the texture tile for them is also used on her face. So unless you want her face the same color as her arms and legs you can't give her pants or a jacket.------------------ Never give-up! unless the situation is hopeless:) IP: Logged |

another reason why some parts of objects cant have their texture changes is that an object is made up of two types of polygons - textured and coloured (okay so its a bit more complex than that). cheers,

Striffelbuur.... I went to the site you mentioned but could not locate either the TRWADed program or the TRViewer program. Are the downloads named something else?

Can't seem to find them there anymore either; you can also get TRViewer from: http://www.tnlc.com/eep/tr/utils.html though... And StrPix2 at http://yiri.maniac.com/tombraider.html offers the same functionalities as TRWADed.exe... Best regards, Striffelbuur. IP: Logged |
