I downloaded all 3 new WAD zip files from Eidos and I installed them into my Core Design/TRLE folder, replacing the original one.

I start TRLE to play it and when I go down the list to play either the NEW CITY or the LOST LIBRARY levels, I get kicked back to the desktop.

I even unistalled TRLE, deleted the folder that wasn't removed by the uninstaller, reinstalled TRLE and reinstalled the NEW WAD files INCLUDING SCRIPT and ENGLISH dat files but it's still doing the same thing!!

I can't figure this thing out!!

If you replaced some files then you are talking about the revised WADs. These won't affect anything unless you have made your own projects using those particular WADs.

Regarding the new WADS, you have to make the TR4 files if you want to play the example levels (did you read the README????), and this only includes the Guard and Library WADs. To make the TR4 file you have to load the project, then output the WAD making sure you save using the correct name, then use the level converter to create the TR4 file. The other, 'newcity', is a variation of the city.was and will only be playable if you use it to create a project, then make a TR4 file. There is no example level using this WAD.

Can any-one help ! Loaded the new wads with all their files to I think the right places but when I 'output-wad' to the library: trle.exe crashes out with its head in invalid memory space . every thing is fine with the guard.wad and even the newcity.wad has an horizon that meets the sky (although I can't open raw files yet to change the colour .Strangest thing though , when outputting wad to tut.1 it crashes out the same way to now !

This may sound too simple, but bcause other people haven't been having problems with the library wad, do you think maybe the file might have been corrupted while downloading? Don't know why tut1 would suddenly stop working properly....

I think I saw something about it under another topic and there being no tr4 path and the first use sets ups operations or something?
