When I use the Horizon objects, it doesn't appear in the map when I play it, not like the real horizon in the game, which is huge. Do I need a trigger to activate it?

You don't need to place it in your level; just make sure the horizon is declared in script.txt before you make a new script.dat, and to use the newcity.wad instead of the city.wad (in case you were trying to do a horizon in the city.wad)...
