I am truly beginning to wonder: have you even bothered to READ the manual??? Well, try this: open the manual; search for 'sky'. Now you will learn how to make the sky visible. Apparently this didn't work, so search for 'sky' again, and you'll find that:

"There are four WADS with outdoor capabilities: tut1.was, karnak.was, coastal.was, and city.was. You cannot really edit the sky graphics but there is one exception - you can change the color of the top portion of the night sky in City of the Dead, as long as black is the background color. Check the City.was WAD Reference for instructions."
