I was going to build a level of my own But I needed to edit the textures I was planning on using. They lacked a speciffic texture I needed. So I used Photoshop to caut and paste a few tiles in to the file. Saved it as a 24bit TGA file. I can load the texture into the editor, but after I saved my beginning of a level I could not reload the Project file. I get an erroe message saying the textures are not found and then The editor crashes. I have no idea what I've done wrong.

OK... Then why does it say 24 bit color TGA file in the manual? Is that just a misprint?

Textures HAVE TO BE 24bits!
When you save a project,it stores the path and filename of the texture file you used.
Make sure you saved your file over the original.

Are you positive you saved your project file after you loaded the new texture? It doesn't matter what you name the texture but it won't automatically load if you don't name it exactly the same as the texture that already was saved with the project. If you name it something different, you must load it in, then save the project. After this, don't move the texture, or when you reload your project, you will get the error message.
