Hiya people,For some reason I don't seem to succeed in setting up the kickdoor as used in newcity-wad (rooms 200 and 101) properly. As in newcity I have placed debris0 in one room, and the kickdoor in the other; I've also tried several other combinations (both the kickdoor and debris0 in the same room, debris0 in both rooms, etc... etc...), but once I've opened the door, I can walk through debris0. As far as I can see I've duplicated the situation as found in newcity, but there must be something I'm overlooking. Can anyone please help? Thanks very much in advance, Best regards, Striffelbuur.

Hello there! I have had this problem too, and I've heard people saying that you can't solve it. Tom992IP: Logged |

Hi,Then how come that it does work in the PRJ-file that comes with the WAD? It makes little sense to say that it is impossible, when clearly, it IS possible using this particular WAD... Greetz, Striffelbuur.

Yes I've got the same problem. Once the door is open you can walk through the debris0. It's anoying but minor compared to all the other problems. If you find out the answer let us know. Reb any ideas? IP: Logged |

Like, what other problems? I believe practically every problem up until now has had a solution... Best regards, Striffelbuur.

Well as asked.I'm working on a switched timed door and supriseingly it works fine. Except I can climb through the door when it's closed. I'm using door 4 from the newcity.WAD and it is placed on the ceiling. My alternative, is to place the door on the floor of the room above but when it opens down into the bottom room it becomes largely invisible. IP: Logged |

Sorted!Place debris1 and debris2 on the same side of the door as debris0. Lara will only be able to run through the middle then. IP: Logged |

Glad to be of service. You know Reb is right when she say's, search for the object in the existing levels. That's how I discovered this. The only thing is, I'm still having problems with door4 (the solid trap door) but when I did a search, it wasn't there, so I'm really stuck now. all the best. IP: Logged |
