I know many programming languages, but still have no clue when it comes to HTML. Is it necessary to know it to post screenshots? Do you just copy and paste? Thanks. I know this doesn't really have to do with the editor, but will really help many people. (i.e. "I made a really cool level!" vs. "I made a really cool level...and here's a picture!")IP: Logged |

Hi,You don't need HTML to place pictures on this forum... just check out: images/ubbcode.html and you'll learn how to put an image here... You simply begin with IMG (between brackets), followed by the url where your image is stored, and followed again by /IMG (between brackets)... Best regards, Striffelbuur IP: Logged |

No, wait, hold on. I don't have a webpage to use as a picture link. Do I still put it's location (i.e. on my hard drive?) The URL code help page doesn't say.IP: Logged |

Well, if your system is online 24 hours a day, and your IP-address is static, you can use your IP-address as an url; if not, you'll have to get yourself a (free) account somewhere to have your files hosted... Best regards, Striffelbuur. IP: Logged |

G'day, quote: Originally posted by Raider of Tombs: Sheese, all that for a screenshot?
Trust me, you wouldn't want to host both the Eidos forums and all the graphics that people would like to upload... have you got any idea about the costs of hosting a website on a proper server with proper traffic? Anyway, it usually takes me somewhere between 5 to 10 seconds to put an image online; on a slower connection, it'll probably take you a minute or so... so I don't really think it's too much to ask. Best regards, Striffelbuur.

I help run a webpage dedicated to the Level Editor and we try and show screen shots for levels. If you send them to me with your TOM file we can post it for you, if that's any help.Col

Help if I included the address, www.tombraider-customlevels.fsnet.co.uk Also as you know some programming we are trying to include some video clips inbetween levels. We know a young lady who bears a resemblance to Lara and is up for it, but how do we get them in the game. If not we will probably still do them and post on the site as it will be a laugh if nothing else. IP: Logged |
