I get the following error on my Win98SE system when running the Room Editor in TRC. Can you help?:
WINROOMEDIT caused an invalid page fault in
module WINROOMEDIT.EXE at 0187:00445573.

This would indicate that either you're running an unstable system, or you are having some extremely bad luck.

Try installing on a ghost of a freshly installed version of your system to see if the problem occurs then as well.

Best of luck,
Striffelbuur.

I had the same problem.

I know everyone always tell you this, but it worked for me.

Make sure your graphics cards drivers are up to date. I d'load'd DirectX 8 from M'Soft and it worked after a reboot

This is the main answer for this topic,I have the same problem, but I also need the help. I have my monitor on 1024x768 Directx 8, 16bit color mode and this thing still won't run. It comes up with that stinken error message. My system is a 166, with 32mb ram, maybe this is part of the problem. All I want is to be able to build levels for Tomb Raider
