I've been having major probs using trle on a laptop with a 2Mb AGP Card. This generally meant that to spin the room or zoom in and out took ages. However, I've just discovered if you switch on crack mode the whole process gets a helluva lot quicker...just thought I'd share that.

For this and other intellectual musings on mans (or womans) external struggle to create convincing water animations, heavy triggers and sexy fly-by camers come to www.tombraider-customlevels.fsnet.co.uk

The problem lies in the extremely small amount of ram on the graphics-card; TRLE was developed as an in-house tool to quicken the development of Tomb Raider - Last Revelation, so computers with less speed or less memory were not taken into account when coding the editor.

Tell me about it. Every game I ever load spots the AGP card and goes "Ahh 3D, let's give him the full version", then runs like an asthmatic ant with a load of heavy shopping.

Yep; I know the problem; tried to install both Tomb Raider Chronicles and Colin McRae's Rally 2 on my mom's laptop for her, but alas, the blasted thing DOES have an AGP card, but practically no memory to do anything with it...

Best regards,
