TRC5 Manual states TRLE5 must run under 1024 x 768 Resolution???? my prob. is that I get
"CRASH MONITOR","CAN'T FIND TASK" messages with that setting, mostly just the "WINROOMEDIT.EXE Crash" WHY?????????
Works well with 800 x 600 But can't use whole screen menu to make/save/edit
PS>> yes my pc monitor is 1024x768

Do you have an otherwise stable system? Or has your computer crashed on you before using other applications?

You have to remember that the TRLE is a tool that was developed originally for in-house use by Core, so the average household PC wasn't really taken into account when creating the editor. I've read some other messages here as well stating that the editor crashes the system.

If you can't run in resolutions ABOVE 1024 x 768, I'd suggest that you use the 800 x 600 resolution until a solution comes along.

Otherwise, just try higher resolutions, and different bit- and refreshrates.

Best of luck,
Striffelbuur.

Try the other well worn solution to all ills - update your drivers, you can get DirectX8 off Microsoft's web site. It worked for me
