I downloaded it and tried to install it, but I get an "Erreur système"...
What to do about it?

What kind of error ?

You must put the 4 files in a same folder w/o the folder included in the zip files. And then run setup.exe where all the downloaded files are. It should work.

I would like to know where your problem is. Is it when you run Setup.exe ? Does the installation work program work ? Is it my program that does not work (WadTexture.Exe) ? I'm a little lost to answer !!

So, check this instructions :

- You must have Windows 98 and not Windows 95
- You must install Imaging for windows 98 with your config. panel before running my program.
- Imaging for windows install the IMGEDIT.OCX that is important for my program. So, I hope your version of IMGEDIT.OCX is compatible with WadTexture, or it will not run. The version I have is
4.10.2000 and the product version is
1.01.1311. In the future, I'll try to make a version w/o IMGEDIT.OCX.

- I hope also that COMCT232.OCX and COMCTL32.OCX are compatibles too.

Anyway, some people have downloded it correctly and work with it. I put here a message I received from RICHMAN that can help other users :
"if one has the message that the OCX cannot be loaded, open the
project file (*.vbp) in notepad, opent he regedit.exe application,
search for the IMEDIT.OCX and change the GUUID in the project file to
match the one in the registry. Then, add the control to the component
toolbar from Wang Image Edit Control"

Good luck !

I do have Windows 98.
When I try to run the setup it just says:
"Erreur système - *some long number*"
and I have imgedit.ocx

I don't know how to solve your problem. May be, one component is missing in your folder after download or something else. So, send me by e-mail a "photography" of your folder where setup.exe is (in a .txt file) and I'll see if everything is correct and anything is missing.

The setup.exe and all its components are made by VB5 assistant utility. I am not responsible of what that program does.
