Topic: How long does this download take!?

I'm in the middle of downloading the newcity.wad and the library thing, and it is currently at 5.30 MBcan anyone tell me, in MB, when it will end? ------------------

12.3 Mb... Maybe time to consider getting either Cable or (A)DSL? Best regards,

hmm, well its at 7.15 MB now...also i have another question... do you or anyone else know, in MB, how long the 20 TGA's (from TR:1, TR:2, TR:3, etc.) to download... i got to about 10 MB and it said it couldn't go on any further, then canceled the download..?

Hiya,The textures are 11.0 MB, and the revised WAD's are 11.2 MB. I suggest you use a tool like GetRight to make sure that you don't have to start your download all over again each time something goes wrong in mid-transfer... Best of luck,

thanks, (i used to have getright but deleted it a LONG time ago)
do you know why my download of the 20 TGA's stopped like that, cause what was wierd was when i clicked on the link to download again, it said, (page not found) or whatever it says when a page has been deleted...

I personally think when you have the problems your talking about it seems to happen when alot of people are trying to access the same files you are.Why dont you try this before you go to bed reboot your computer go straight to the download page and try letting it dwnld over night.At least it wont bug you to sit there and watch it download.Sometimes doing stuff while your downloading messes with the transfer.Getright will definatly solve your problems.Good luck and always remeber to SAVE!IP: Logged |
