I'm trying to modify texture files, but when I try to load them TRLE says they're in the wrong format. I've use both Paint Shop Pro in Windows and Gimp in Linux, and tried both PCX and TGA formats. Both load the existing texture files fine, and each other's files as well, but the level editor won't load the output of either.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Make sure you save the image as 24 bit uncompressed TGA(In PSP found under saving dialog-Options)

Thanks. I probably would have never hit the right combination. I was moving toward lower color depth instead of higher! I didn't know TGA had so many choices!
