It is painfully obvious that I am not the level maker I thought myself to be. Try though I may, I just can't seem to make good levels like most of you folks out there so what am I to do? Play instead of create, of course! So thanks to all you wonderful people who have uploaded your levels for me, and the rest of the world, to play. I've enjoyed them all!!------------------ It's easier to get forgiveness than permission IP: Logged |

I totally agree!! I tryed to do levels, but without a working manual (or should that be adobe acrobat reader, grrrrr) I can't do any. I have all these ideas and just can get them working. So now i do something I can handle...clothes. I suggest you start too!!! Umm, I'd say it was more rewarding then level design cos others get to use your gal!! oh, and i just figured after about 2 months how to get past the room of spikes in the young lara adventure from neils site, trlevels.com. It is really cool!!! but does anyone know HOW to proceed past that big water area. I am stumped!!! but as said, i think the level designers are brilliant. well done guys. keep 'em comin' baby!!! lol IP: Logged |

Moose, How come you don't have Adobe acrobat? It comes on the level editor disc. All you have to do is install it and then you will be able to veiw and print the manual.------------------ I WAS PRESSING THE DARN WALK BUTTON !! IP: Logged |

Am I the only one who actually printed that whole manual out? It nearly killed the ink in my printer, but it's a great reference to have handy. I must agree with everyone else here, though. Making "good" levels is a lot tougher than it looks. I haven't even attempted to make one entirely from scratch-- I've always been using premade textures (slightly modified in some cases), and prerecorded sounds. The maps are all my own, of course, but that's about it.

Ive printed the whole manual also. You must print it out because without it i could not make the level that i designed. Its made with the catacomb wad. Hold your breath and look out for the CATACOMB TOWERS.When your playing a level, your looking trough the eyes of the designer... IP: Logged |
