i have tried and tried and tried of getting my WAV sound file to play here are the steps of me doing it:

i go on the sound recorder and record something with my microphone and save it as WAV and i put it into the audio folder in the trle folder and i called it 999 and i opened up the level editor and set a trigger as the number 999 but when i convert it etc.. it doesn't play

??????has anyone else has this problem???????

Hiya,

Haven't had this problem yet, as I haven't tried implementing my own sounds yet.

However, I think it might be worth checking wether you've saved your wav in the proper format. A quick glance at some of the wav-files in the TRLE-folder would indicate that they're 352Kbps at 22Khz

if you are talking about creating audio tracks then you have to copy them over an existing file or use one of the gaps in between, like try saving it as 087.wav

the wav file must be in MS-ADPCM format. just copying your audio into the audio folder or over writing the originals wont work. I suggest using Cool Edit Pro to convert your audio files. But note that if you want others to enjoy the music you have used you will have to upload them with your level or you will get the default music that is in the audio folder when you install. Its stupid but apparently it saves d/l time.
