Why, when I shoot someone at close range with a shotgun (in the game, obv ) they still attack me until I have gone through 3 or 4 packs of shells? I know why this is done because if everyone instantly died in the game then it would loose the level of difficulty. But I think if the game makers are trying to make it more realistic by using amazing graphics, FMV scenes and storylines, they are missing the point that most people die when shot at close range. I think it is something that needs to be addressed by the game makers. I love the games but I hate it when things so blantantly stupid are left out. Oh and a grumble about tr5 from me is that I was told by the game cover, "Lara has new moves and animations - including hand to hand combat".
I thought I could attack the people, not a cut scene. I was a little upset but it was still cool to watch but i dunno what i am complaining about. I am just trying to kill time whilst the textures for tr5 load up onto my site.
Ok byeee

Actually, the shotgun DOES do more damage close up...just not A LOT more.

What I would REALLY like to see is the ability to make diagonal corridors! The simple ability to raise a triangle (Half a block) while leaving the rest of the block alone would do it! This came home to me when I tried to create a round tower for a mideival castle...it simply can't be done!

I've got to agree with you, Moose. I've first noticed how bad this was on Tomb Raider 2. Those guys with the wrenches had thicker skin than a t-rex. Nobody should be able to take several shots to the head with an uzi.

And yeah, the "Hand-To-Hand" fighting was a bit of false advertising. Hopefully Eidos will let this idea evolve further in the "Next Generation" Tomb Raider games.

I think I speak for many when I say dispite how great TR is, it needs better collision detection.
