I noticed that the level editor has a version number "v.49". I know the level has been updated for each succeeding tomb raider games. But will there be any support from Eidos to update the "Level Editor" to remove some bugs as well as improve the interface?

Very unlikely if you ask me, because next step would be v.50, and that was the one used to build TR Chronicles. Maybe wait 'til Next Generation
