Help me please somebody I am pulling my hair out....and I need it for when I am older!!! Please help me!!! Ok I had better tell you what is up I think. Ok, I have managed to finally create a level which is really cool (in my opinion anyway  ) BUT when I go to play the level in the catacombs, tr4 crashes on the level loading screen with the usual error message. I can't take this as before when I checked it all worked fine it was ok, and I even managed to create water!!!! That took ages and I don't really want to throw all my time away so somebody HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! I got bored and began a costume especially for the level, BUT (and that but is bigger than Jennifer Lopez's) when I go to load the original catacombs level into the game it crashes in the tomb2pc!!!
What is going on? I have already lost (well I didn't have it in the first place to loose it) my manual and will loose my marbles if I loose the whole get up!!
Please somebody help this poor, innocent level creator!!!!!

Try the following
- Updating to the revised catacomb wad
- Recreating your script and english dat
- Go back to the catacomb.prj, output and convert it so u know it's not the game, but something in the level
- Re-install the game
- Swear
- Scream
- Kick/punch something/one
- Laugh philosophically, and start again
- If your level is really big, it can cause the converter to stop responding, wait till u can move the window again.
Love the camo outfit by the way, I know have that for any city level I play and pwhirl's adidas for tut1 Col. ------------------

Thankyou for your tips and comments!!!! I love the camo too but my newest love is in the form of the leopard print. It looks really prehistoric against the background setting of coastal.wad.
Oops!! I have it as city.wad.i must change it before i get complaints!!

You did put Lara in the level, right?------------------

Can you revert to an earlier saved version (YOU ARE SAVING OFTEN AND WITH DIFFERENT NAMES< RIGHT????)to maybe pinpoint just when the 'bug' developed?[This message has been edited by Reb@Eidos (edited 02-26-2001).] IP: Logged |

Well.....not exactly with different names but I have been saving as the normal room 1 etc cos my manual won't open. Hey, i am dead chuffed I got a reply from reb!!! Yay!!

How many rooms does your level have?Does it contain illegal slopes or doors? When does it crash and what diolog box appears? IP: Logged |
