Hi there,I'm planning to run a Texture Creation competition in a couple of weeks with the winner hopefuly getting some prizes. However I will need some assistance. First I need another four people who will along with myself be the judges for the competition. Also what rules should I have? So if you are interested in being a judge or have some suggestions for rules then drop me an email on tombraider@3dactionplanet.com. ------------------ Crofts Gate Online http://www.3dactionplanet.com/tombraider mailto:tombraider@3dactionplanet.com IP: Logged |

A definite rule should be how seamlessly the texture fits together.[This message has been edited by Raider of Tombs (edited 02-23-2001).] IP: Logged |

I agree. I think the texture sets should also adhere to a single theme. Not that all textures in the competition should be of the same theme, but rather that each texture set sticks to its own theme. In other words, a random assortment of textures within a single set shouldn't qualify. Also, cutting and pasting from previously made texture sets should certainly not be allowed. Let's have all original work!IP: Logged |
