Can someone please tell me what the fascination is with all these Lara outfits people have designed. Sure it's funny to see Lara in something a little different but I don't get it!

I would have thought that the emphasis would be on builing an awesome level, then maybe thinking about changing Lara's clothes to something that fits the mood and style of the level. Wetsuit for underwater levels for example. Sure some outfits have their place but there are a few people who are going a little over the top.

Does anybody else think this way or am I just a little strange?

Personally... I'd say let them do what makes them happy. I'd say editing Lara is probably a bigger challenge, given how hard are arse crack is to find (sorry, but it is).

And unless u hadn't noticed there r no rules and no destiny except that which we make 4 ourselves (ok I stole that from T2, but it's true) You go and make your levels, they go and make their outfits - aka everyone's happy - OK

I understand what your saying, and I have nothing against it, I would just like to understand why.

This wasn't really directed at anyone in particular I'm just interested in people's opinions.

I think it just has to do with the degree of dificulty. It takes so long to accually find all the textures, and then to edit them and make somthing that accually looks good.I guess its just a sense of pride in a job well done.Cheers!!!!!!

An outfit that fits the level is just what I am trying to provide - (I create outfits) - The thrill is in the making... finding all the textures, imagining what it will look like in the end, and proudly publishing the finished product for people to enjoy. You can visit my site below for a wide range of outfits, request one I haven't got, or take it on yourself, all the tools are there. I even made a little template to make it all a little easier. It's like building a model plane - the fun is in the making.

Some people think it's fun (me) some people think it's boring and pointless. It just depends what people like.

Hey!!!! It is cool!!!! Come on, do you enjoy a level more with just a normal Lara?!...it is all in the ambience and feel of the level. The demographics, tnx media studies!!!! You know, like if you are doing a spoof spy level, you want a spy-like Lara. It is all in her presentation....I loved the costumes from tr and think it just adds a missing link to the game. I just love it....like a wedding cake with no incy wincy bride&groom-->worthless. (no offence to those married and had not toys on the top of the cake!!! )
