In their infinite wisdom Tripod dicided to delete my site as well, hours of work in the drain and not even a notification.

After reading their rules carefully I think they did this because I had a picture of my new level posted here on the forum, and this picture was on my site so on their server.
It's 'remote loading' and they delete your site without notice.

I have put the levels back up and the new URL is: http://pytron.tripod.com/pytr/id1.html

Sorry for the trouble if you have to change a link....

No that's not why. They claim people can link your images and your site is fine. I really don't know what there problem is, but it ticks me off that they don't even warn you and tell you to fix it. Then they have the nerve to not respond for weeks at a time. Errh!

Looks like Tripod is on a deleting spree. Hope they don't trash mine.

Maybe they have a thing againist TRLE?
Hey Pwhirl, they were probably jealous at how good your site was and were angry that it could be that good and free.

I have just joined Tripod and I don't feel safe anymore!

but I always have this site :
http://www.communigate.co.uk/ne/leveleditor

just in case this one:
http://www.members.tripod.com/editor23

gets took off for no reason.

If Tripod removes my site I think the three of us should send them one big nasty e-mail!

I think you should all have a back up site at somebody like geocities or at 50 megs JUST INCASE tripod get shirty. I feel very sorry for you both. It IS a great loss, I love TR sites and to loose some of the best is really soul destroying. I think I might put something like this on my site....a petition on behalf of you with a poll again from alxnet, they do petitions I think.
Ok byee
John(Moose562)
ps. Maybe I should make a logo for sites that support you and they put it on their site, like a tripod logo with an "x" in the middle .just a thought. I am willing!!!!!!! If we all stick together I think we can get it sorted. PWhirl, have you heard from them since?! If they don't reply that is REALLY rude.
