Could you specify what you mean? If you mean a level jump..you can't jump to another level using the same wad name, therefore you should copy and rename the wad and make some script adjustments.Pytr. IP: Logged |

Howdy Pytr. The situation is this... I'd reached the end of my first level (using tut1) and needed to go back to the start to do a 'niffty' ending. So, the idea is that Lara would jump down a hole in the floor and reappear at the beginning. Can it be done I ask???? Hopefully. Billy.IP: Logged |

yes it can first place a lara start possition nullmesh where you want her to appear highlight the nullmesh and press o to bring up the ocb for the nullmesh and type the number one in the box don't forget to press return after you type the number then set the trigger in the hole for object type finish and type the number of the level in the box next to finish then type the number 1 in the timer field and press okay press the pink trigger button and your all set now when lara falls into the hole she will appear where you placed the start possition nullmesh. Hope that helpsIP: Logged |

YAHOO!!!! As we ol' cowboys say, thank you Pytr for your advice..it works a treat! I can't tell you how many man hours I waisted trying to get that kind of thing done. The real bane of my life, being honest, is trying to get Lara to jump from one level to another and back again. I've followed the manual but I'm going wrong somewhere... could you advise please???? Once again tho' many thanks. BillyIP: Logged |

follow these instructions and it should work 1. place a lara start possition nullmesh in the level you want to jump call up the ocb for the nullmesh and type the number 1 hit enter and click okay to close the ocb 2. set up a finish trigger somewhere in the level you are jumping from and type the number of the level that your jumping to as per step 1 next to finish in the trigger window then type the same number that you entered in the ocb for the nullmesh in the timer box of the finish trigger NOTE: if you want to set up another jump you have to increase the nullmesh and timer numbers by 1 for each jump you make. I've jumped 3 times in the same level and to different places each timeIP: Logged |

Did you check pages 74 and 75 in the manual (US version)? And did you check the Catacombs project, Room 2, and the Coastal project, Room 154 for details???IP: Logged |
