Topic: Hey Pytr!!!! or anyone else who can use a burning floor!

Can someone please tell me how to use no collision w/ the burning floor, i recreate the room excatly as the library level has it and when i apply the burning floor it doesnt work! WHY!? HELP!IP: Logged |

Still busy with the floor ??Could you be more specific in what doesn't work...? When you've set the right shape of the floor, you color the 'hole' (with triangles) in the grey transparant color. Do the same in the flipped room but then apply with the No collision button on. They appear maroon when you have 'face edit' off. C below: "No Collision You might ask what is so difficult about assigning No Collision to a square. First of all, in order to assign No collision properly and avoid getting an error message when you output the WAD, you must assign it to a triangular segment of a square with a broken surface - it cannot be assigned to a flat square The triangle will turn maroon once No Collison has been assigned. Transparency Color: These triangular pieces need to be assigned a transparent color in order to hide them from view. When applying a transparent color to squares in between rooms you use the gray transparency color (next to the black one in the top left corner of the palette below the Editor Window). Well i have the shape of the floor correct, in the normal mode i have teh gray transparent triangels set and in the flipmap with the gray square on i add no collision but it doesnt seem to work, i keep trying but no luckas with the trapdoor floor lara falls through it all the time, and isnt a dummy trigger suppose to stop it? cause i have a room my many diff elevations for the floor and then i have the trapdoor, would this make a difference? and if i cant get teh burning floor can i send you the .prj and you could see what's up? thanks IP: Logged |
