i've been messing with laras outfits lately but no matter what i do i have patches of the original color on her sides and either side of her chest... ive gone through the WAD over and over, but never find any of the green.. im doing this with karnak, mostly, but it does this with other wads too.. is it something im doing or what?IP: Logged |

I have a similar problem with some of the other WAD objects. I can never find the texture I'm looking for. Isn't there some software that extracts WAD objects with their textures somewhere?anyone know? IP: Logged |

The Lara object is not totaly textured but some polygons are just colored, that is the poligons does not refer to a texture but to a 16bit color value. You would have to edit the wad directly to change that...and if you can do that, you might as well texture those polygons yourself.IP: Logged |

Raider of Tombs has the answer he has created a template that show all of Lara's "bits". He has had trouble with his site (Tripod...what can u do), we have the shirt template which might get u started!!Col. ------------------

what you're looking for is a small, perhaps 8x8 pixel square of just plain color. In transfering an outfit from the city.wad, using the template, I'm doing pretty much what you're doing with karnak. Don't let the sizes fool you, as many of the texture "patches" are stretched when applied to the in-game model. At this point on my own outfit creation for New City, I have one patch of green shirt left to identify and re-texture, which is driving me nuts as I can't seem to find it! Good luck finding it  Drake
