Is there someone who want's a program to assign new textures to an object in 3D? I've got a small program to view meshes in 3D from the exported objects, but if someone can create a program to assign textures to meshes, I'll mail you the format of the exported objects.Michiel IP: Logged |

Sounds great!! Does that mean we can apply different textures to Lara...it would beat the problem of getting the same texture on her waist as on her boobies And it could even mean, yes, TROUSERS?! If you are gonna do it you would be crowned saviour of the costume designers or a pioneer.IP: Logged |

It might be worth a try since I've done this texture reassigning before. Send me the fileformat and an example object zipped to richmann@videotron.ca.A screen capture of that object's appearance might be good too. Put "Braid textures" in the subject line. I program in VB6 Enterprise edition so if you use any special cntrols to view in 2D (3D, that is) that you can send over, please do. Otherwise, I'll just write my own. After I am finished, I'll send the exe, full install, the source code and any specs and tech document developed.[This message has been edited by Number6 (edited 03-11-2001).] IP: Logged |

Does this also mean we can apply different textures on the horizons or on the baddies 3D model? It would be very cool.Tomo [This message has been edited by tomoko (edited 03-11-2001).] IP: Logged |
