I know this has probably been posted before but, I don't think I have the time to check all of the past forums. How do you get the burning floor to burn away when you throw a torch on it?. I lost the readme to it, and I don't want to download the whole file again. Also if you tell me how to do it could you maybe add in the cameral triggering of it.Thanks guys. LaterIP: Logged |

I can't help you with the burning floor, except that it sounds like you need to use a flip map.But going through old mail is easy! just use the search utility. I find this really usefull when looking for information about a particular problem. give it a go. IP: Logged |

You won't find anything in the read me about the burning floor. I've given a pretty detailed description in a reply to Nigel1985's post:BURNING FLOOR! A few things to keep in mind: Lower the floor according to the shape of the burning floor so that you'll get broken surfaces. Make a portal of every square involved with the burning floor. Flip the room, but don't try to trigger the flipmap, leave the 0 in the box next to it. Don't forget to place a trigger for the burning floor itself. Apply 'no collision' to the triangles that form the portal with 'face edit' turned off.Hope this helps, Pytr. IP: Logged |
