Hey there
I am using the new city wad. I tried your suggestion of dumping the new city raw and renameing coastal.raw to new city.raw
now when I open it in other programs it's the blue sky from coastal, but when I use the converter and veiw it in game it's the same old city.raw . I've since used your other idea of animating star texturs and I'm happy with the results. however I would still love to understand whats going on. could it be some inherant problem with the wad? thanx _PARADOX_

Are you sure you have your files in the right folders? It sound's like a file mix up to me. It should work OK. It does on my level.

The other posibility is that you have not copied the newcity script information into your script file. This can effect the colour of the sky making it look green even though the original file is blue.

Check the readme file that comes with the newcity wad download.

Thanx Runingonair!
I think you've found the root of the problem.
