I don't get how do you make a switch open a door.Can someone help me please? thanks!

Click on the sector with the switch and select the switch. Create a trigger and set trigger type to 'SWITCH'. Now select the door and create a normal trigger on the same sector. Now the door will open if the switch is on and it closes if the door is off.

here is the hands down way
first place your switch then click on the switch and select the square on the floor directly under the switch and press the pink trigger button now open the trigger window and select trigger type switch then click okay then okay again to close the trigger window now click on the door you want to open make sure its highlighted red then click on the square under the switch and click the pink trigger button and your all set
