I've been submitting levels but they've been rejected as incomplete. I'm still a beginner at this and would appreciate any advice that can help me achieve my goal of getting an accepted level. i.e.-what items are missing to make the level complete.IP: Logged |

Where have you been submitting levels that they are said to be incomplete. As far as I'm concerned a level is done when the designer says it's done. ------------------ Never give-up! unless the situation is hopeless:) The only thing certain in life is uncertainty! OK, hands up, it was us. The first level we received had lara's bum floating about. We didn't feel it would be fair to put it up like that. Levels have to be playable, but all what I presume were supposed to be switches, baddies etc, were floating bums.We do actually play every level before we put it up to check for bugs like this, but, as I've said before, we're against rating levels ourselves. Just because we like or don't like a level wouldn't prejudice us as to whether we put it up, but if it doesn't actually work or provide any gameplay then we wouldn't host it. We did respond by e-mail at the time offering to help repair or modify the level, but with no response until this. Col. IP: Logged |

Oh, I forgot to tell you Col but I did give you the wrong wad , sorry. But anyways don't put up that level because I don't think I did a good job on that level,I kind of rushed it.I'm starting a level right now thats going to be better than the other one.IP: Logged |

Skateboard Kid It was a joint decision between Colin and myself not to post your level on our site, as we were of the opinion that it was not complete, and you have agreed that you submitted the wrong .tom to us. Perhaps it would have been nicer to reply to the e-mails that we sent you regarding your level rather than publicly slating us on the Eidos forum. Colin spends a lot of his time making levels available to everyone, and an e-mail expressing you concerns would have been better. Whilst we do not like to judge levels ouselves we felt that this level did not warrant what is valuable and limited web space. We will be more than happy to host any of your future levels when completed. Regards

everyone should really play the the entire level once they think it is done and make sure they send the right files cause otherwise it can create needless problems like these.------------------ Tomb Raider News http://clik.to/tombraidernews Now with Level Editor help guides and much much more! Hello raider nut, I'm sorry that I didn't sent my concerns on e-mail and I'm almost done making my level.I just need to fix some rooms and add a little more stuff.Thats it. Then when I send my level you can check it to see if its complete. If its not complete then e-mail me if you want.IP: Logged |
