been reading the documentation and I really wonder what is the point to bringing out the editor as SEVERELY crippled as it is ?

Why can't I make my own Baddies ?

Why can't I include my own rendered Cut-scenes ?

Seriously, all the GREAT functions don't work !

In my case, the entire editor refuses to work, so what's the deal ?

They might have brought the game out with a random level-generator, just as useless if you ask me.

Why a level editor if there is no sprite-editor.

Would've been nice to have a function Import Lightwave 3D object or any other 3D program support, but there's not.

And why can't I get Lara to drive her cool bike or snowmobile ?

Where's the sharks and the Scubagear ?

Whatever happened to Mr. Garibaldi ?

Does anyone know ?

Does anyone know how to fix my problem, btw ?

Cause I really feel like I got ripped off by Eidos on this one.

Where's the support ?

HELLO ???

HELP !!!!!!!

hey i got a great answer to all your questions THE LEVEL EDITOR WASNT MEANT FOR PUBLIC RELEASE! that means edios wont help, most programs that they dont use means you can use them either, and why the level editor wont work for you means your doing something wrong! a lot of people are creating levels and doing fine cause they take their time and dont create long monotenous speeches when 1 thing goes wrong, so what i say is calm down and take a deep breath because tomor will be better

This is NOT the editor used for Tomb Raider, maybe it was used for the first Tomb Raider, but certainly not the 4th version.

I remember 1 level where there were more then 5 DIFFERENT baddies in one level, so how did they do that ?

Answer, they used their editor, not this extremely tuned down version.

Anyway, if someone finds a 'usable' sprite editor for this game give me a yell, maybe I can make some baddies for ya.

I'll just delete the editor if DirectX 8.0 which is now downloading doesn't work either, I might build a library of baddies and other game objects if I can find the spirit for it. Was hoping to use them myself.

Did anyone else notice that in the tutorial level the baddie that attacks you at the start picks up the small medikit if you're too slow ?

*sighs deeply*
Was hoping to build a level where Lara encounters the dragon I created in Lightwave, not that would've been cool a flame spitting dragon that attacks Lara, maybe I just need to learn to code on top of my modelling skills.

The Level Editor is the exact same as used to create TR4. It was not 'tuned down', but in some instances hardcoding was used in conjunction with the editor, which may give the impression that it was.
